Ruby May is a kind heart girl who cares for her friends deeply. Born into an abusive family where her parents were too young to have a child. Her father died of an overdose leaving her mother to take care of Ruby May. Her mother does nothing for Ruby May and emotionally insults her. This caused Ruby Mary to go into a serve depression as a child always being afraid of her mother. But, she was save by something wonder and that was video games. The worlds these video games were set in allow Ruby May to feel as if she was a part of another world. The way they connect the player into the stories made Ruby Mary as she was with them on their adventures. Video games kept her from giving up on life and herself. Even at Maryweather High and at home being bullied no longer fazes her as she return to video game world locked within her room.
Ruby May's weapon is a sword and shield created by a fellow outcast member who good at making cosplay props. It is inspired by one of Ruby May's favorite video game of all time. It was the first video game that she had ever played. It also the game that broke her out of depression. She uses this weapon in the Sword Master tournament to fight for the whole outcast representative.
The Outcast Allegiance represent majority of the entire Mayweather High student body. Most normal students who don't fit into rebellion, the order, or royals. They are abused by the rebellion or royals allegiances.
Ruby Mary Louis is the one of the protagonists of my new light novel project Sword Masters. Sword Master follows the tales of five young women who fight for different school cliques or allegiances as they are described in the novel. The Sword Masters is a tournament created by the school's principal as a way to allow students to change the order of school society. Only one girl can win alter the school social status forever bettering it or hinder it.
